Gain Intimacy

Prayer is an essential part of our relationship with God. It is through prayer we gain intimacy with our Lord. Through prayer, we learn to discern His voice. Through prayer, we learn to know Him better. Through prayer, our hearts become softened to His will. And through prayer, He teaches us how to love others with His lavish love.

So many times we make prayer too complicated when it is simply communicating with our Lord. Just as our human relationships cannot thrive without communication, so too our relationship with God cannot flourish without communicating with Him. Prayer is simply talking to God. But we also must learn to listen. We've all been in conversations where the other person is talking so much we can't get a word in edgewise. Don't be that person in your relationship with Jesus!

Jesus often went away by Himself to talk with His Father. Why do we think we don't need to do the same?

In Psalm 27:8 David says:

"My heart has heard you say, 'Come and talk with me.' And my heart responds, 'Lord, I am coming.'"

At Pleasing Aroma Ministries, we want to help women grow in their intimacy with God through the sacrifice of time spent with Him in prayer. Can your heart hear Jesus calling? He wants to spend time talking with you today. How will your heart respond to His call for intimate communion with Him?

Come along with me as together we cry out: "Lord, I am coming!"
