"We tend to pray as a last resort, but God wants it to be our first line of defense.
We pray when there's nothing else we can do, but God wants us to pray before we do anything at all."
-Oswald Chambers
When it comes to your children, is prayer your last resort or your first line of defense?
Do you pray when there is nothing else you can do or before you do anything at all?
The moment we find we are going to be parents we should make prayer our first defense;
the priority of our lives. To parent without prayer is to invite un-needed stress into our lives.
A secondary purpose for Pleasing Aroma Ministries is to help parents, specifcally mothers,
learn to pray for their children in every stage of their lives.
From conception through adulthood, to our final breath, our children need our prayers.
Using the Bible as our prayer manual we can learn to pray different types of prayers depending on the circumstance or situation our children may be facing. As we open God's Word and apply it to our prayers for our children we can know we are praying God's will.
Through Isaiah God tells us:
"As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is My Word that goes out from My mouth: It will not return to Me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it."
Isaiah 55:10-11
Come along with me as I share what God has taught me about prayer through my years of parenting.
Together we can pray through our parenting.
